Concrete is one of the most versatile, durable, efficient, cost effective construction materials available. With a world wide production rate of 5 billion cubic tons per year, it is the second most consumed substance on earth after water. The United Arab Emirates (UAE). alone uses about 130 million cubic meters of ready-mixed concrete each year. It is used in highways, streets, parking lots, parking garages, bridges, high-rise buildings, dams, homes, floors, sidewalks, driveways, and numerous other applications.
Concrete has no intrinsic form and its ultimate shape and texture is dictated by the formwork into which it is poured. As a result, finished concrete can assume almost any color, shape or texture. This versatility gives concrete designers and contractors a medium with unlimited potential.

Ready Mix Concrete
C7.5
A mix used for stabilising underground pipe work or use as a dry backing when installing roadside kerbing, when erecting posts or for general use where no real strength is required.
C10 ( Gen1)
Both of these mixes are used as a foundation or footing mix for non-load bearing walls, garden walls up to 900mm high and footing mixes for house construction. Foam concrete is cement bonded material manufactured by blending a very fluid cement paste (slurry) and then injecting stable, pre-formed foam into the slurry.
C15 (1.3.6 and ST3)
Footing Mix, some houses/ bungalows and caravan bases.
C20 (ST4, Gen3 and 1.2.4)
This strength is used as a footing mix in house construction where ground is found to be soft or unstable, used mainly as the slab foundation to the floor of houses and bungalows. Bases for caravans and pathways need this strength of concrete, the latter using a 10mm aggregate for a smoother finish.
C25 (Gen1)
Dependent on special requirements this mix may be needed for slab foundation to houses or bungalows, it is also used when replacing or the making good of existing floors. Farmers use it as a general yard mix, an area for gathering of livestock and the passage of light machinery such as tractors and land rovers.
C30 / C35
Structural concrete mixes for roadways, access to farms or anywhere where large and heavy vehicles require access on a daily basis. Durable mixes to withstand heavy wear and the ever changing climate. Strong enough to withstand continuous heavy rain, frosts, snow and prolonged dry periods.
C40
This mix is widely used in the farming environment, for the manufacture of both slurry and silage pits. Strength to contain tonnes of waste product produced and a strong mix (i.e. cement content) to withstand the acids and chemicals produced by and added to silage, which can remain in these pits for long lengths of time.
C45

Screed
Screed is becoming an increasingly integral part of the build process, and like concrete, screed delivery is one of our core services.
Sand and Cement screed has been the preferred choice of the building Industry for over 50 years. This screed is perfect for laying to falls where the floor needs to run down to a drainage point.
Concrete screeds can incorporate under floor heating systems. Concrete Screed can be pumped or discharged from the suppliers truck, levelled using laser technology, steel rules and trowels, however advancements in design mean that some concrete products can be finished using dapple rails for a flatter surface finish.
